DIN 17176 12CrMo19‑5 Quenched & Tempered (QT1) – High‑Temperature Steel for Hydrogenation Vessels
High temperature steel for high pressure hydrogenation vessels. It is scale resistant up to 650 °C as well as chemical resistant to aggressive (e.g. sulphurous) oils. Application: hydration facilities and petroleum distillation facilities for tubes and shapes, in the quenched and tempered condition also in the steam boiler construction for overheater tubes and collectors
