DIN 1725-1 Grade 3.0505 H16 – Premium Aluminum Alloy for High‑Performance Applications

The alloy AlMn0,5Mg0,5 is special one for the packing planned alloy. The alloy belongs to the nature-hard aluminum materials. A strength increase can only occur by cold forming. It is very well warm and cold formable and is very well suitable to the deep-drawing (no lappet formation). Because of the good Erichsen index and the relatively high strength (F 24), it finds in addition in architecture use. Standardised is this alloy as sheet metal or strip with a thickness of max. 0,35 mm (DIN 1788). Application: In the packing for menu bowls, light container, bottle caps, doses dose covers as well as in architecture as profile boards for roofs and wall linings and for shutters and suspended covers. For heat exchangers and flexible pipes.
