DIN 17125 Grade StE 460 – Normalized or Normalized Formed Steel
The fine grained steel is used acc. DIN 17178 : 1986-5 for welded steel tubes and acc. DIN 17179 : 1986-5 as seamless steel tubes for special purposes down to -20 degrees C. Application: pressure vessel construction, apparatus construction, pipelines, mechanical engineering, toolbuilding Special requirements regarding processing have to be arranged (e.g. coatings). For welded tubes the calculation with the 100 % loads are possible for the seam area.
