Kaneka Aerospace Achieves AS9100D Certification, Elevating Aerospace Quality Standards
Kaneka Aerospace LLC (Benicia, CA, US), a global supplier of high performance composite materials, has received AS9100D certification, which recognizes Kaneka Aerospace’s high standard Quality Management System (QMS). The AS9100D standard incorporates the ISO 9001 QMS standard while including additional requirements targeted towards the aerospace industry.
Kaneka Aerospace was established in September 2017. The acquisitions of Applied Poleramic Inc. (Benicia, CA, US) and Henkel Corp.’s (Düsseldorf, Germany) benzoxazine composites business further strengthened its composites portfolio. Kaneka Aerospace’s product portfolio includes high performance resins, prepregs and adhesive materials.
