Hahn Automation Expands Healthcare Focus with New German Technology Center

Hahn Automation, the German parent of Hahn Plastics Automation in Windsor, Connecticut, has launched a dedicated technology center focused on the healthcare sector. The move follows Hahn’s strategic acquisition of Invotec Deutschland GmbH in August, which is now operating under the name Hahn Automation Süd GmbH.

Invotec has long been a specialist in automation system integration for the production of cardiovascular devices, surgical instruments, drug‑delivery systems, and biomedical micro‑electromechanical systems (bio‑MEMS). The company’s expertise is now seamlessly integrated into Hahn Automation’s global portfolio.

In addition to its German operations, Invotec maintains key facilities in Miamisburg, Ohio, and Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, allowing Hahn Automation to serve U.S. healthcare manufacturers with localized support and rapid delivery.

Hahn Automation also incorporates Waldorf Technik, a renowned provider of robotic automation for injection molding of medical components and other high‑precision parts.
