Rewiring RichAuto DSP 0501 to A11E/S Controllers: A Step-by-Step Guide
How to rewire DSP 0501 control system into A11E/S controller?
From year 2012, Richauto DSP stopped producing DSP 0501 control system, and updated into DSP A11S or A11E (English) control system. So a lot of CNC router DSP 0501 user have problems with rewiring the control system when change into A11.
It is easy to get a new RichAuto A11E, and will have to do the rewiring from the 0501, but it is hard to rewiring diagram from the 0501 to the A11E. Most machine or control system suppliers can not or not like to give out information about their own cabling. But Western companies, where cabling diagrams follows the deliveries.
RicoCNC is happy to support these clients, and can do the best backup service all the time. So clients no need to risk doing too many errors.
Here is the wiring diagram for DSP 0501 and A11 control system, please check carefully.
From the CB (Circuit Board);
J2, J3, J4 and J10 is easy, and no problems. Just take care: X1(XH) should be connected with X SE, X3(ZH) should be connected with Z SE.
However, then comes the challenges.
On the OLD circuit board (0501) my cables are connected to the following positions:
J7
S 0
S 1
S 2
Sp -
J8
Z_Se
Y_Se
X_Se
24V +
24V -
J9
24V -

On the 0501 circuit board:
J7: Sp- (minus) to be connected where on the A11 circuit board? J7: SP- connected to GND.
J8: 24V- (minus) to be connected where on the A11 circuit board? J8: 24V- connected to GND.
J9: 24V- (minus) to be connected where on the A11 circuit board? J9: 24V- connected to GND.
After finished rewireing, the new A11 circuit board cable connection will be like this:
