What is a multifunction calibrator?

A multifunction calibrator combines several measurement functions – pressure, temperature and electrical signals, for instance, into a portable package. The technicians do not need to carry multiple tools; they can meet most calibration requirements with one tool. Some equipment even supports digital communication protocols such as HART, Foundation Fieldbus and Profibus PA.
