Vickers VH02 Vane Pumps: Precision Fluid Management for Commercial Industries
The VH02 Series is a family of industrial pumps designed to handle a wide range of fluids and applications from water treatment to food processing. The pump is suited for handling abrasive materials such as acids, solvents and alkalis.
Vickers VH02 vane pumps are designed to handle a wide range of fluids and applications from water treatment to food processing. The pumps are suited for handling abrasive materials such as acids, solvents and alkalis for both open and closed circuits. Vickers’ unique design allows easy access to both sides of the impeller chamber allowing unrestricted cleaning of all surfaces including the shaft seal area.
The Vickers VH02 vane pumps are a variable displacement, high pressure, vane pump.
The Vickers VH02 is a compact, portable and reliable vane pump with a fixed displacement of 2.5 cm3/rev.
The Vickers VH02 has a maximum pressure of 350 bar and can be used for many industrial processes such as water injection or steam generation. It is also suitable for use in petrochemical plants and oil refineries where low temperatures are required.
The Vickers VH02 can be operated at pressures up to 350 bar, making it ideal for use in harsh environments such as offshore drilling platforms or on land based rigs where high pressures are required. The compact design makes it easy to transport and install the pump wherever it is needed, which reduces installation costs significantly compared to other types of pumps such as centrifugal pumps or piston pumps.

Vickers VH02 vane pumps for commercial applications.
This versatile family of pumps is suitable for applications including machine tools, presses and process equipment as well as for industrial and mobile applications.
The Vickers VH02 is available in a wide range of sizes to suit the most demanding requirements. The pump is designed to be compact with high power density and low noise levels. It can be used in both vertical or horizontal installations.
The VH02 vane pump is available with either a single-stage or two-stage rotor design. The single-stage rotor has a pressure ratio range from 3:1 to 10:1 while the two-stage rotor has a pressure ratio range from 6:1 to 20:1 depending on model size.
The unique design of this pump enables it to operate at very high speeds (up to 20000 min-1) with no loss of efficiency due to cavitation effects or air entrainment. The high speed capability means that lower flow rates can be accommodated than would otherwise be possible with conventional centrifugal pumps.
With reliable operation across a wide range of pressures;the VH02 can be configured to suit many requirements.
The Vickers VH02 series of vane pumps is designed for reliable operation across a wide range of pressures. The VH02 can be configured to suit many requirements, including use in the food, pharmaceutical and beverage industries.
The pump body is constructed from heat-treated cast iron with a bronze impeller, impeller shaft and bearing assembly. The main drive shaft is supported by thrust bearings located on both sides of the rotor. The bearings are sealed with labyrinth rings to prevent leakage and contamination.
The pumping element consists of three sets of vanes operating in an oil bath which is integral with the casing. The cavity between each set of vanes is filled with oil at all times to ensure that there is an even distribution throughout the pump body. Each set of vanes operates independently;therefore, if one set fails it does not affect the other two sets.
The VH02 features a compact design, easy installation and provides superior performance with outstanding volumetric and mechanical efficiency.
The VH02 is designed for use in water supply systems, industrial process equipment, irrigation, fire fighting and other specialized applications requiring the highest level of performance. The pump is suitable for domestic, commercial and industrial applications that demand high reliability and extended life cycle performance.
The VH02 can be used with a wide range of fluids including water, oil and steam. It is available in two different configurations: the VH02-A pumps are designed for ambient temperatures up to +40°C while the VH02-B pumps have a temperature rating up to +80°C.
The vane type positive displacement pump is capable of producing several different flow rates without the need for a controller by simply changing the speed of the shaft.
The vane type positive displacement pump is capable of producing several different flow rates without the need for a controller by simply changing the speed of the shaft. The VH02 pump has been designed for use with diesel fuel, petrol and other fuels that have low flash points.
The VH02 is a positive displacement pump which means it delivers a fixed volume of liquid per revolution of the motor shaft. The flow rate can be varied by changing either the rotational speed of the motor or by changing the number of vanes in operation.
The VH02 vane pump operates at very high pressure due to its small size and low weight design. This makes it ideal for mobile applications such as agricultural spraying equipment, fire fighting equipment, fuel tankers and many other applications where corrosion resistance is required.
It offers low noise levels and smooth running characteristics while operating over a wide range of temperatures.
The pump’s integral housing is constructed from cast iron and has a life expectancy of more than 20 years. It is available in both single-stage and two-stage configurations, with an optional three-stage option.
The pump’s oil-filled bearings minimise friction between moving parts, while its oil-free design ensures that there is no risk of contamination when pumping corrosive fluids.

In addition to this, it has excellent self-priming capabilities, making it ideal for many industrial applications.
The shaft seal is made from special alloy steel with the addition of chrome and molybdenum. This makes it suitable for aggressive fluids such as oils, chlorinated hydrocarbons and acids. The shaft seal is also fitted with an elastomeric lip seal to prevent leakage between the shaft and housing.
The double-wall impeller features grooves cut into its outer surface to improve heat dissipation from the motor casing. This helps keep the motor cool during operation and ensures long life.
The Vickers VH02 pumps family incorporates modular construction principles which allow customers to very quickly configure pumps to suit specific application requirements with minimal need for custom parts or assembly skill.
The VH02 family incorporates modular construction principles which allow customers to very quickly configure pumps to suit specific application requirements with minimal need for custom parts or assembly skill. Pumps can be built with single suction or twin suction impellers, single shaft or double shaft, with an optional free-flow diffuser, as a centrifugal pump or axial flow pump.
The Vickers VH02 vane pump is well suited for applications where high efficiency and high power are required such as chemical processing plants and process heat transfer systems.
It is evident that the design has been thoroughly thought out, with few moving parts and a robust, reliable design. It is no surprise that this pump has become widely used around the world in various applications.
