Vickers VMQ Series Vane Pumps: Proven Reliability & Advanced Engineering
Vickers Pumps is an international pump manufacturer, with over 100 years of experience in the design and manufacturing of high-quality pumps. The company has a strong engineering background, supported by a strong sales and service network throughout the world. Vickers Pumps produces more than 40,000 pumps annually for use in process and chemical industries, power generation, water treatment and marine applications.
The VMQ Series vane pumps offer proven technology for reliable performance in chemical processing plants. These vertical multistage axial flow centrifugal pumps feature a lightweight rotor design with up to four stages of blades or vanes. They are available with either manually operated or automatically controlled variable frequency drives (VFDs) for variable speed control at low slip conditions.
The Vickers VMQ Series vane pumps from Eaton provide exceptional performance in the most demanding applications.
The Vickers VMQ Series is a high-pressure vane pump that is designed for use in the transfer of liquids such as water, oil and hydraulic fluids, as well as air and gases. The pump has a compact design, which allows it to be mounted on either side of a tank or vessel. It also offers quick installation and maintenance with no tools required.
The Vickers VMQ Series offers high performance and can handle high pressure levels of up to 350 bar (5000 psi). It has an operating temperature range of -20°C (-4°F) to +120°C (+248°F), so it can be used in a wide variety of applications. The pump is available in two models: the VMQ4040 series is designed for applications where there are no hazardous gases present; while the VMQ5050 series can handle hazardous gases such as hydrogen sulfide and ammonia.

The products are carefully engineered to deliver consistent performance under varying operating conditions and environments, and offer maximum flexibility for most industrial applications.
Vickers VMT Series vane pumps are designed to help you meet challenging requirements in the most demanding applications. They are available in a range of sizes and types, including standard and high-efficiency models. The products offer high reliability, low noise levels, excellent corrosion resistance and low vibration.
Vickers VMT Series vane pumps are available in both positive displacement and plunger designs with capacities up to 534L (130gal) per minute at 17 bar (260psi).
The Vickers VMQ Series vane pumps have been designed to meet the needs of customers who require high performance at competitive prices. These units offer low noise levels, excellent corrosion resistance and low vibration while maintaining high reliability standards.
The VMQ Series features a durable, simple design with fewer moving parts that help minimize maintenance costs and downtime.
The pump is designed to provide long service life and high reliability. It has an enclosed vane chamber, which eliminates contamination problems associated with open-style pumps. This enclosed design also minimizes the potential for abrasive materials in fluids to damage the vane chamber wall or wear out seals prematurely.
The VMQ line of centrifugal pumps is ideal for corrosive applications that require high temperature capabilities such as water/glycol mixtures used for heat exchange systems, industrial process water, wastewater treatment, power generation and chemical processing applications.
The design extends the life of the product by reducing wear and stress on internal components, making them ideal for a wide range of fluid power applications such as mobile equipment, machine tools, injection molding machines and other applications.
The VMQ Series features an epoxy coated iron pump body with a cast iron volute and shaft assembly. The unit is offered with Vickers’ standard mechanical seal or custom seals to meet specific requirements. This series has been designed for use in mild corrosive fluids or where cleanliness is important.
The VMQ Series features a compact design that is available in both horizontal and vertical mounting configurations. This makes it ideal for use in tight spaces or areas where space is limited.
The VMQ Series has been designed for low noise applications. The high quality bearings used in this series provide smooth operation and quiet operation at all speeds.
The VMQ Series offers advanced design features, such as: a high efficiency cam ring (CAM) or fixed displacement (F) option; low noise levels; multiple customer interface options (ISO, SAE, cartridge); and a variety of displacement sizes.
The Vickers VMQ Series vane pump is designed to meet the needs of a wide range of applications, including cooling systems, hydraulic systems, industrial and commercial equipment and vehicles.
The VMQ Series offers advanced design features, such as: a high efficiency cam ring (CAM) or fixed displacement (F) option; low noise levels; multiple customer interface options (ISO, SAE, cartridge); and a variety of displacement sizes.
The VMQ Series is available in six models: two cam-ring displacements; four fixed-displacement displacements; and one electric motor. The six models cover a range from 0.25 to 25 liters per minute at pressures up to 3600 psi (240 bar).
In addition, the VMQ Series delivers strong performance in a compact package.
The VMQ series of positive displacement rotary vane pumps is designed for applications requiring high flow rates at low pressure drops. All models are equipped with custom-designed stators and rotor vanes to provide high pumping efficiency and long life. The high-strength rotor vanes are fabricated from chrome-moly alloy steel and heat treated for maximum wear resistance. The stator is constructed from ductile iron or cast iron with bearing inserts for increased axial stiffness and reduced vibration.
The VMQ series has been developed for municipal, industrial and commercial applications where high efficiency, low noise levels and long life are required. These pumps are also suitable for use in dewatering wells, flood control basins or sewage treatment plants where a noncorrosive pumping application is desired. The VMQ pump is available in a wide range of capacities from 10 GPM up to 10 MGPM (70 L/s) at pressures up to 125 psi (86 bar).
