Servo Kinetics Completes 59 Motion Actuator Refurbishments for C-130 Flight Simulators
Servo Kinetics recently completed the refurbishment of 59 precision motion actuators that are used on the C-130 flight training simulators. According to Servo Kinetics Inc CEO, George Kokalis, “The C-130 actuator project represented one of the largest Servo Kinetics Inc has handled in over 25 years of providing support services to the commercial and military flight simulator industries.”
The primary mission was for Servo Kinetics Inc to precision remanufacture motion actuators back to like new condition. The secondary mission included field piping 4 simulator locations which required replacing flexible hosing runs in sub-floor trenches as far as 100 feet each.
Servo Kinetics Inc completed final testing on the last 24 actuators using their new state-of-the-art dynamic actuator test machine – the largest of its kind in the world.
