Monroe Engineering Strengthens Solar Market Presence with Titan Wire & Cable Acquisition

Monroe Engineering Acquires Titan Wire & Cable Assets to Bolster Solar Market Offerings

Rochester Hills, MI—January 2021—Monroe Engineering today announced the acquisition of Titan Wire & Cable, a Sparks, NV-based company. This strategic move expands Monroe’s wire harness and connector portfolio and deepens its presence in the alternative‑energy sector and among electrical contractors.

Enhanced Customer & Supply‑Chain Value

By uniting Monroe’s global manufacturing footprint with Titan’s expertise in solar and alternative‑energy installations, the combined entity will streamline quoting, sales, production, and program management, delivering superior service and value to customers.

Don Howe and Werner Aeschlimann, Sales & Engineering leaders at Titan, will continue to drive sales while leveraging Monroe’s team of more than 20 nationwide locations. “We’re excited to partner with Monroe,” says Howe. “Our expanded manufacturing capacity, systems, and skilled workforce will enable us to tackle larger domestic solar field projects and supply fasteners, hardware, and metal assemblies to our solar and electrical‑contractor clients.”

Tom Yaroch, VP Sales, Monroe Engineering, added, “Monroe serves a diverse range of verticals—Defense, Aerospace, Rail, Heavy Truck, Medical Equipment, and more. Partnering with Titan strengthens our alternative‑energy offering and positions us as a technical hub for solar and electrical‑contractor markets across the country. We anticipate that this collaboration will benefit our suppliers, customers, and employees alike.”
