Monroe Engineering Expands CNC Machining Capabilities with Sattler Inc. Acquisition

Monroe Acquires Sattler Inc. Assets

Rochester Hills, MI— November 5, 2020 — Monroe Engineering today announced the strategic purchase of the assets of Sattler Inc., a long‑standing manufacturer based in Ira Township, MI. The acquisition strengthens Monroe’s CNC machining and contract‑manufacturing portfolio, which already serves automotive, defense, and aerospace sectors with precision parts and fabricated assemblies.

Positive Customer and Supply Chain Impact

By merging operations, Monroe and the new Monroe Sattler team will streamline quoting, sales, manufacturing, and program management. This integration is designed to elevate customer service and enhance supply‑chain value. Sattler’s expertise in precision components, large‑format parts, and exotic materials immediately broadens Monroe’s capabilities.

Paul Sattler, an industry veteran, will remain with the business to oversee day‑to‑day operations at Monroe Sattler. Rob Sattler will continue in sales, now supported by Monroe’s extensive sales network across more than 20 U.S. locations. “We are excited to partner with the Monroe team. With their manufacturing capacity and resources, we can invest in systems, personnel, and equipment to take on additional domestic CNC machining and fabricated metal assembly projects. This partnership will lead to more efficient product realization for our customers,” said Paul Sattler, General Manager of Monroe Sattler.

Tom Yaroch, VP Sales at Monroe Engineering, added, “Monroe serves customers in defense, aerospace, rail, heavy truck, and medical equipment, among other verticals. Sattler has been one of our top suppliers on several precision machining projects, and now that we’re fully integrated, we’ll be even more competitive. Both companies emphasize employee well‑being and customer service. This is a win‑win for our teams, clients, and partners.”
