DATA MODUL Launches Ultra‑Bright 21.5” & 31.5” Open‑Frame Monitors with EasyTouch for Outdoor & Indoor Use

DATA MODUL, a Munich‑based digital signage specialist, expands its open‑frame portfolio with ultra‑bright monitors that reach 1,500 cd/m² and 16.7 million colours. The new 21.5” and 31.5” models are engineered for semi‑ and full‑outdoor use, delivering exceptional readability even under direct sunlight.

Each display is built around a full‑HD industrial TFT panel, ensuring durability, long‑term availability, and crisp content presentation. The monitors are ideal for a wide range of applications—from POI/POS kiosks and ordering terminals to vending machines, interactive city maps, and retail display windows.

Customers can choose portrait or landscape orientations, add PCAP‑MultiTouch functionality, and fit robust protective glass up to 4 mm thick. The 31.5” model is already a proven solution in restaurants, petrol stations, and recreational facilities, where its portrait layout and touch interface streamline customer interactions.

Technical flexibility is achieved through VGA, DVI, and DisplayPort inputs, and VESA 100 mounting for the 21.5” variant. The open‑frame design allows seamless integration into kiosks, vending machines, digital signage steles, and information terminals.

DATA MODUL works closely with each customer to tailor the monitor’s configuration—from component selection and feature definition to housing design and serial production—offering a fully custom solution with or without touch capability.
