Arrow, Infineon, and Arkessa Forge Global Alliance to Secure IoT Connectivity
Arrow Electronics has announced a global partnership with Infineon and Arkessa to enhance its support for cellular communications in the Internet of Things (IoT).
Security remains a paramount concern for organizations deploying connected devices. Infineon supplies secure hardware controllers built to the GSMA’s Embedded Subscriber Identity Module (eSIM) specification, forming the backbone of this new offering. Arkessa delivers secure mobile data services that simplify provisioning and management of IoT devices from factory to field.
Through this collaboration, OEMs, system integrators, and enterprises can access a complete technology and service stack that delivers reliable, worldwide connectivity for their IoT assets. The combination of Infineon’s security controls and Arkessa’s flexible network access and provisioning ensures that eSIMs provide enhanced security and reliability across multiple applications, and can be paired with cellular, NB‑IoT, and LTE‑M services today.
In Industry 4.0, secure machine‑to‑machine (M2M) communication is critical. Smart‑factory machines increasingly rely on cellular networks to exchange information that streamlines operations and boosts efficiency. Infineon’s SLM family of security controllers is optimized for industrial environments, offering high endurance over a temperature range of −40 °C to +105 °C.
Beyond manufacturing, secure connectivity benefits smart cities, retail, and asset‑tracking scenarios, enabling new business models and global growth.
Arrow’s IoT expertise spans the entire value chain—from edge components, modules, and software to cloud services and analytics that unlock data value. It covers every layer of connectivity and the security required to protect network integrity and data.
