Infineon Named Advanced Technology Partner by Amazon Web Services

Infineon Technologies has been named Advanced Technology Partner to Amazon Web Services (AWS). With its extensive portfolio of security and microcontroller solutions, Infineon empowers IoT device makers to develop, secure, and integrate their products into the AWS cloud with confidence.

Infineon’s components have undergone rigorous validation and have passed multiple certifications for Amazon FreeRTOS and AWS Greengrass IoT Core. They are now available for purchase as IoT developer boards through the AWS Partner Device Catalog:

Infineon’s sensors, microcontrollers, and security controllers allow connected devices to sense, compute, and secure data streams for intelligent, efficient aggregation and analysis—whether on‑premise or in the cloud. Coupled with an open‑source software ecosystem, Infineon simplifies the development and integration of IoT solutions with cloud‑connected services.

Protecting digital identities is critical for data‑sensitive applications in machine‑to‑machine and cloud communication. A chain of trust built around hardware‑based security anchors safeguards digital identities and cryptographic keys from logical and physical attacks. This ensures that IoT end nodes—such as production machinery, surveillance cameras, and other edge devices—can securely connect to on‑premises edge platforms and cloud servers.

To meet diverse industry requirements, Infineon and members of the Infineon Security Partner Network (ISPN) develop tailored security solutions rooted in advanced chip technology. At the 3rd IoT Security Circle in Munich on 28 May 2019, Infineon and its partners showcased cutting‑edge cloud solutions for a wide array of IoT applications, spanning automotive, industrial, and mobile domains.
