PROVERTHA Introduces Robust Stainless Steel M8 Crimp Flange Connectors for Industrial Ethernet, Medical, and Food Applications

PROVERTHA expands its portfolio of compact M8 connection solutions with stainless‑steel (V4A) versions that feature A‑coding and crimp termination for AWG 26–22. These 360° shielded connectors, rated IP67, are engineered for demanding Industrial Ethernet networks, including EtherCAT, offering unmatched robustness, vibration resistance, and torsional strength for a reliable, interference‑free data link.

The new 3‑ and 4‑pin male and female variants, equipped with twisted crimp contacts, address the stringent requirements of medical technology and food‑processing industries. V4A‑M8 connectors also excel in clean‑room settings and offshore environments, and they are well suited to automatic stamping machines and robotic applications where shock, vibration, and torsional loads are critical.

In medical and food‑processing equipment, components must meet high standards of protection, cleanliness, corrosion resistance, and hygiene. Cleaning agents and disinfectants, as well as aggressive salt water, can accelerate corrosion. PROVERTHA’s stainless‑steel M8 connectors resist such challenges—they can be washed with standard cleaning agents and remain corrosion‑free.

The all‑metal housing shields against electromagnetic interference and withstands harsh mechanical stresses. Compact dimensions enable reliable connections even in confined spaces, and the connectors are designed for quick field assembly with minimal parts. The plastics are certified for railway use under EN 45545‑2. Key specifications include a 4 A current rating, a minimum of 200 mating cycles, and an operating temperature range of –20 °C to +85 °C.
