SymphonyAI Announces Strategic Acquisition of Azima Global to Expand Predictive Asset Health Solutions
SymphonyAI has announced the strategic acquisition of Azima Global, a leading provider of machine condition monitoring and asset reliability solutions. As part of the SymphonyAI family, Azima Global will be rebranded Symphony AzimaAI and will focus on developing next‑generation products that merge one of the industry’s largest mechanical fault‑mode datasets with automated diagnostic data and plant‑level process metrics. The result is a suite of predictive asset‑health and performance‑management tools designed to give manufacturers real‑time insight and actionable intelligence.
“Azima has spent over a decade building an industry‑leading position in effective and scalable machine health diagnostics,” said Burt Hurlock, CEO of Azima Global. “Merging with a leading AI platform is the logical next step to create integrated predictive maintenance and process‑optimization solutions. We’re excited about the added value we can now deliver to both existing and prospective customers.”
Headquartered in Los Altos, California, SymphonyAI builds, transforms, and invests in companies that help enterprises grow faster and perform better through artificial intelligence. Leveraging a $1 billion investment and the expertise of more than 100 entrepreneurs, operators, and AI technologists, SymphonyAI develops systems of actionable intelligence across the enterprise.
“The acquisition of Azima brings over a decade of deep condition‑monitoring experience and comprehensive equipment data,” said Dr. Romesh Wadhwani, chairman of the SymphonyAI Group. “When combined with our AI capabilities, we can deliver cutting‑edge, industry‑leading solutions that significantly increase the value proposition for our customers. We look forward to a successful journey ahead at Symphony AzimaAI.”
