Grace Launches Advanced GraceSense Predictive Maintenance System to Prevent Equipment Failures

Grace Engineered Products has unveiled the GraceSense Predictive Maintenance System, a comprehensive solution designed to detect equipment failures before they happen. By leveraging wireless sensors, a configurable hardware architecture, and a user‑friendly web interface, GraceSense minimizes unplanned downtime and enhances operational reliability.

The initial suite includes four distinct products and a cloud‑based dashboard. The battery‑powered vibration and temperature node can be attached to any rotating machine, forecasting anomalies that could otherwise lead to catastrophic breakdowns. A dedicated temperature node monitors surface temperatures across a wide range of assets.

The Panel‑Mount/CloudGate device collects data from the nodes and securely transmits it to the cloud via LTE or plant Wi‑Fi, ensuring real‑time visibility regardless of location.

Complementing the wireless nodes, the Hot Spot Monitor (HSM) offers non‑conductive temperature monitoring for critical electrical equipment such as switchgear and transformers. One HSM can supervise up to 18 connections, making it ideal for complex electrical assets.

The Maintenance Hub acts as a remote control center, allowing users to configure devices and view analytics. When monitored parameters exceed predefined thresholds, the hub automatically sends SMS or email alerts, complete with remediation guidance, to maintenance teams.
