Headquartered in Corona, California, AIC International has announced a strategic expansion into Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico. “This move is more than a new office,” says Alfonso Cuellar, General Director. “It represents a firm commitment to bringing cutting‑edge composite manufacturing technologies closer to businesses throughout the Americas—including Canada, the United States, Mexico, and the broader Latin American region.”

For over ten years, AIC International has partnered with Mexican customers ranging from small‑scale fabricators and entrepreneurs to OEMs, manufacturers, and engineering teams. As the industry evolves, the company sees an increasing need to help firms transition from conventional composite processes to next‑generation manufacturing solutions.

Focused Capabilities in Yucatán

In line with this vision, AIC’s Yucatán facility will provide direct access to:

“AIC International’s mission is simple: help companies grow,” Cuellar says. “Whether you produce fiberglass parts daily, are exploring carbon‑fiber for the first time, want to boost productivity with lightweight RTM, or are evaluating LFAM for molds and final components, we aim to be an integral part of your journey.”

Through strategic alliances with global leaders such as CEAD, Airtech, MVP, Textile Products/Kordsa, AkzoNobel, and others, AIC is bridging Mexico and Latin America with the technologies that are shaping the future of composite manufacturing.
