EN 10139 Grade DC04 Cold-Rolled Steel – High-Quality, Skin-Passed, Ideal for Cold Forming

Cold rolled uncoated low carbon steel narrow strip for cold forming.,The non-alloy steel DC04 acc. to DIN EN 10130 is as a deep-draw quality suitable for cold forming of complexest profile forms and components, especially at high deformation speeds (e.g. transfer presses). To freedom of stretcher strains applies a period of 6 months after provision of the products for surface type A and B. Welding: DC04 is weldable by the following welding methods: MAG (metal-active-gas), plasma welding, laser welding, compression weld welding, resistance welding (spot, roll weld, buckle welding), arc welding. The steel acts as substrate for surface refined and coated bands and sheets. Application of DC04: household appliances industry, construction trade. Acc. to DIN EN 10139 DC04 is offered as cold rolled band or bar, cut in strength range HK270 to HK590. On welding of DC04 in condition HK290 to HK590 has to be considered the potential influence to the mechanical properties
