SEW 555 28CrMoNiV4-9: Quenched & Tempered Alloy Steel for Turbine Shafts & Discs

The high temperature alloy steel 28CrMoNiV4-9 is used for larger preshaped components in the quenched and tempered condition in turbine and generator installations, in particular as shafts and discs. The steel is weldable if the relevant measures required are observed.
