EN 10222-5 Grade X3CrNiMo13-4: Quenched & Double Tempered Steel for High-Performance Applications

Trademark X3CrNiMo13-4 is comparable X 4 CrNi 13 4 acc. to SEW 400-91. To this material as per SEW applies: The steel shows good toughness properties and sufficient corrosion resistance at a temperature range from -60 to 300 °C. X 4 CrNi 13 4 has better corrosion properties than the comparable 13 per cent Cr-steels due to the N-content. Application in tempered condition for turbine wheels, pumps, compressors, components in nuclear power station and reactor construction, in shipbuilding.
