DIN 17445 Grade G-X3CrNiMoN17-13-5 Quenched: High-Temperature Resistant Steel for Pressure Vessels

Tthe material G-X 3 CrNiMoN 17 13 5, material number 1.4439, can be used in a temperature range between -60 °C and 400 °C according to VdTÜV-Wbl 458 : 2001-12 for pressure vessels based on the TRB 100 and the AD-Merkblättern W 5 und W 10 including W 5 und A 4. Single certificats or complementary certificats are necessairy for the application in the nuclear power technic, when it is specified in the rules of nuclear power engineering. The material is metal-arc-weldable using covered rod-electrodes (preheating is not necessairy according to DIN 17445-84 bzw. VdTÜV-Werkstoffblatt 458, 02.83.) Application for the chemical industry. The material is resistant against chlorid of higher concentrations and higher temperatures
