EN 10277-5 Grade 34CrMo4: Cold-Drawn, Turned, Quenched & Tempered Steel for High-Strength Applications
Steel 34 CrMo 4 is suitable for parts of high strength and ductility requirements at mean and higher heat-treatment sections (also heavy forged parts) in vehicle manufacturing, engine and machine engineering (e.g. shafts, wheel gears, steering knuckles). The steel shows a high specific mechanical resistance to static and dynamic load. Lowest application temp. -40 °C.
