EN 12844 Grade G‑ZnAl4Cu3: Advanced Casting Alloy for High‑Strength Applications
The material G-ZnAl4Cu3, material NR. 2.2143, characteristic Z 430, becomes application for sand castings and of ingot castings of all kinds, sheet material-forming tools as well as for injection moulding -, blowing and deep-drawing forms for plastics. The alloy Z 430 is a possible alternative to Z 410, if their strength is not sufficient. It possesses the highest strength and the best creep rupture behaviour from the alloy family with 4 weight percentage aluminum.
