EN 10270-2 Grade VDC: Premium Oil‑Quenched & Tempered Steel Wire for High‑Fatigue Torsion Springs
The round, oil hardened and tempered carbon steel wire VDC with high fatigue strength and low tensile strength is used mainly for torsion loaded springs (tension and compression springs) mostly at room temperature. It will be delivered in rings, in coils or as bars and, if not otherwise arranged, thin oiled. Der runde, ölschlußvergütete Ventilfederdraht der Sorte VDC aus unlegiertem Stahl mit hoher Dauerfestigkeit und niedriger Zugfestigkeit wird vorzugsweise verwendet für torsionsbeanspruchte Federn (Zug- und Druckfedern) im allgemeinen bei Raumtemperatur. Der Draht wird in Ringen, auf Spulen oder in Stäben und, wenn nicht anders vereinbart, im leicht geölten Zustand geliefert.
