EN 10028-7 Grade X1NiCrMoCuN25-20-7 Solution Annealed (AT) – High-Performance Austenitic Steel

The austenitic steel X1NiCrMoCuN25-20-7 is the stronger Mo-alloyed type of the 1.4539. The steel shows a very high resistance to crevice corrosion, pitting corrosion as well as to stress corrosion caused by pitting corrosion. It has the highest pitting index with 46. The material is resistant to intercrystalline corrosion, even in welded condition. Application: in higher chloride-contaminated media, e.g. in appropriate sulphur and phosphorus acids, furthermore in offshore engineering
