BS NS104 Nickel Silver – Premium Sheet Metal with Superior Strength & Corrosion Resistance
NS104 (CuNi12Zn24) is the standard grade of nickel silver for general purpose applications. Primarily a sheet grade, NS 104 contains 12% nickel and is utilised where the additional strength of half hard temper material imparts rigidity and spring properties. The presence of nickel provides corrosion and tarnish resistance to levels well in excess of normal brasses. Material of this temper is still cold workable and readily fabricated by bending, punching, stamping etc. NS104 is soldered and silver brazed without difficulty and is widely used for electrical and electronic components as well as for general engineering and aesthetic purposes.
