DIN 1652-3 Grade C10 Cold-Drawn Steel – High-Performance, Wear-Resistant for Automotive and Mechanical Applications

The steel C 10 is used for wear loaded parts with low core strength in the vehicle and mechanical engineering (e.g. pins, lever, compression mouldings and stampings). The lowest application amounts to -25 °C, the best application from 5 to 10 mm nominal size. As bright steel product it is used in the form of rods (bright, straight) in different conditions (see DIN EN 10277 : 1999-10).
