DIN 1652-3 Grade C15 Cold Drawn Steel – Superior Wear Resistance for Automotive & Mechanical Applications

The steel C 15 is used for wear loaded parts with a little higher core strength in the vehicle and mechanical engineering (e.g. lever, joints, bushes, gears). The lowest application amounts to -25 °C, the best application from 5 to 10 mm nominal size. As bright steel product it is used in the form of rods (bright, straight) in different conditions (see DIN EN 10277 : 1999-10).
