DIN 1626 Grade USt 37.0 Steel Tubes – Normalized or Normalized Formed (+N) for High‑Pressure Applications
Welded steel tubes made of USt 37.0 are used in the mechanical engineering, vessel construction, line building and apparatus construction. The permitted working temperature and the allowed operating pressure are defined in subject to the inspection certificate: outer diameter: <=219,1 mm allowed operating pressure [bar]: 64 allowed operating temperature [°C]: max. 300 for delivery with certificate: DIN 50049-2.2 outer diameter: 219,1< d <= 660 mm allowed operating pressure [bar]: 25 allowed operating pressure [°C]: max. 300 for delivery with certificate: DIN 50049-2.2 outer diameter: d > 660 mm allowed operating pressure [bar]: 16 allowed operating pressure [°C]: max. 300 for delivery with certificate: DIN 50049-2.2 outer diameter: all allowed operating pressure [bar]: 160 allowed operating pressure [°C]: max. 300 for delivery with certificate: DIN 50049-3.1 A or B or C Other application limits possible by other technical regulations like TRD, TRB, AD-Merkblätter. The weldability is given for gas welding, arc welding, flash welding, electrical pressure welding and gas pressure welding.
