Craftech Achieves Full PPAP Levels 1–5 Compliance for Plastic Fasteners
Craftech Industries, Inc. is proud to announce that we now fully support PPAP Levels I through V for all our plastic fastener offerings.
PPAP—Production Part Approval Process—is the gold standard for ensuring parts meet the stringent requirements of the automotive and aerospace sectors. With 18 distinct deliverables, PPAP documents every critical dimension, test procedure, and risk mitigation plan. By integrating these requirements into our workflow, we reinforce our commitment to consistent quality and transparent customer collaboration.
Our ISO 9001:2008 certification already embedded rigorous design and change‑control procedures. PPAP expands on that foundation by demanding a failure‑mode analysis, severity rating, and corrective or backup strategies—all of which we now handle internally and provide to customers as part of the submission package.
During the PPAP cycle, we’ll produce fully inspected samples and issue a Part Submission Warrant (PSW). Once the PSW is approved, production ramps to full volume. Our new automated image‑dimension system captures measurements in real time, generating all required reports with minimal manual effort.
Successful PPAP requires clear dialogue. We’ll work closely with you to identify critical dimensions, required functional tests, third‑party inspections, and appearance approvals. By addressing these elements early, we eliminate surprises and ensure every part meets your exact specifications.
