RadiciGroup Boosts Global Production with €35 M Investment in New Polymers Plants
RadiciGroup High Performance Polymers is dramatically expanding its global footprint, channeling more than €35 million ($41.7 million) into new and upgraded facilities across Mexico, China, Europe and North America. The move underscores the group’s commitment to delivering innovative, sustainable nylon and copolymer solutions to automotive, electronics and consumer‑goods markets worldwide.
"The High Performance Polymers business is highly strategic to our Group. Our network of production and sales units spans Europe, North America, South America and Asia, enabling us to serve both local and global customers with a complete, innovative and sustainable product range," said Maurizio Radici, v.p. and COO of RadiciGroup. "By establishing more advanced manufacturing sites we will raise overall production capacity and efficiency worldwide.”
Key capacity upgrades include:
- North America: 20,000 t/yr (44.9 million lbs/yr) added at Radici Plastics USA, Wadsworth, Ohio, and Radici Plastics Mexico.
- Mexico: A 20,000‑sqm plant has been inaugurated to support current and future growth.
- China: Construction of a 25,000‑sqm facility in Suzhou’s Suxiang District Industrial Park is underway, expected to increase capacity by 30,000 t/yr (66.1 million lbs). The investment here is nearly €20 million ($23.5 million).
- Germany: Expansion at Radici Plastics GmbH will add 15,000 t/yr (33.1 million lbs) to meet demand in automotive and electronics sectors.
- Italy: Enhancements at Radici Novacips continue to reinforce our European operations.
In line with its sustainability agenda, RadiciGroup has established Radici InNova—a consortium that unites research and innovation across the Group. The High Performance Polymers division is leveraging this platform to advance circular, low‑impact materials and application solutions for demanding supply chains.
