Remote PI‑Certified PROFIBUS & PROFINET Training – Launch 2022

PI UK is delighted to announce that Control Specialists Ltd, a PI‑accredited Training Centre (PITC), will now deliver the full suite of PI‑certified PROFIBUS and PROFINET courses entirely online. The new format is fully backed by the PNO and PI UK, providing a flexible alternative to traditional in‑person training.

Starting in January 2022, the following courses will be available, complete with examinations:

• Certified PROFIBUS Installer
• Certified PROFIBUS Engineer
• Certified PROFIBUS System Designer
• Certified PROFINET Installer
• Certified PROFINET Engineer

Those interested in a foundational understanding of network auditing and fault‑finding can also enroll in the non‑certified Commissioning and Maintenance sections offered at the beginning of the Engineer courses.

About the Trainer

Peter Thomas, Chairman of the PI Training Center Working Group at Control Specialists Ltd, has led an international working group to ensure the quality of PI certification is maintained in the new online delivery model. His experience and leadership underpin the rigorous standards of the courses.
