Yushin Launches Advanced FRA Series Servo Robots with Industry 4.0 Connectivity

Yushin’s new FRA series linear servo robots deliver greater agility, intelligence, and speed. Three models serve presses ranging from 50 to 600 tons and feature the brand‑new E‑Touch V controller—ergonomically designed, gesture‑friendly, and equipped with a dual‑screen layout that separates core programming data from custom I/O mapping, eliminating the need to switch screens. Frequently used functions appear on the main screen, while users can assign any I/O signals or buttons to the sub‑screen.

The FRA series incorporates patent‑pending technologies such as Active Vibration Control, which dampens vibrations in real time using sensor feedback, along with Arc Motion Control and Adaptive Motion Control. The robots support DeviceNet, EtherCAT, and EtherNet/IP, enabling seamless integration with downstream equipment.

Yushin also introduces Intu Line, a cloud‑based service that streams production data and real‑time video from the molding cell. Production managers can access the FRA robot remotely, monitor output, and download daily, weekly, or monthly reports with a single click. Yushin technicians can also retrieve the same data for remote diagnostics. During the show, Yushin demonstrated Intu Line by streaming data from all FRA robots on a smartphone; two robots were operating at Yushin’s booth, while others were present at Maruka/Toyo, Nissei America, and Toshiba. Intu Line complements the robots’ existing Industry 4.0 features—remote troubleshooting, predictive maintenance, integrated controls, and smart sensor protocols.
