Cold Jet and Airgas Forge Alliance to Deliver Eco‑Friendly Turn‑Key Cleaning Solutions Across North America

On April 13, Cold Jet LLC and Airgas’s Red‑D‑Arc subsidiary announced a strategic partnership that will deliver environmentally responsible, turn‑key cleaning solutions to service providers and manufacturing operations across North America.

“This alliance brings Cold Jet’s cutting‑edge dry‑ice blast technology into a uniform, comprehensive package available to companies throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico,” said Gene Cooke, president and CEO of Cold Jet. “Red‑D‑Arc’s extensive North American presence and its ability to bundle a full range of related products and services through Airgas’s network makes this technology more accessible than ever, regardless of project scope or capital budget.”

Cold Jet’s dry‑ice blast systems use high‑density dry ice derived from reclaimed carbon dioxide, creating a non‑abrasive, non‑conductive, chemical‑free, water‑free process that generates no secondary waste. The technology has become a best practice for cleaning, product finishing and quality assurance across multiple sectors.

While Red‑D‑Arc is best known for welder rentals, its portfolio spans a wide range of industrial products. “The Cold Jet dry‑ice cleaning systems complement our offerings perfectly,” said Mitch Imielinski, president of Red‑D‑Arc. “Customers can now obtain a complete cleaning solution—system, high‑density dry ice, and accessories—through a single order at any Red‑D‑Arc location, with competitive pricing and an efficient supply chain thanks to Airgas, the largest dry‑ice producer and distributor in the U.S.”

Red‑D‑Arc markets the systems through its Blasters Plus program, which offers customizable packages that include the cleaning system, consumables, and necessary accessories such as compressors and coolers. Flexible terms—rental, rent‑to‑own or purchase—are available at Red‑D‑Arc’s North American facilities.
