Fiix CMMS Update: New Login, QR Codes, Navigation Enhancements and Upcoming Features

We continually refine Fiix’s CMMS to deliver a smoother, more intuitive experience. Below are the latest releases and what’s coming next.

Recent Improvements

Enhanced Login Experience

The login page has been redesigned for clarity and accessibility. Large input fields make it tablet‑friendly, while a prominent "Create Maintenance Request" button guides guest requestors—those who may be unfamiliar with Fiix—directly to the submission form. See the updated page on our live test‑drive site.

QR Codes and Mobile Access Enabled for All Accounts

QR codes are now active for every user and account, streamlining maintenance requests and work‑order completion. The mobile experience has been updated to match, allowing field technicians to capture and submit data on the go.

Intuitive List Navigation

Our developer Willie introduced forward and back buttons for list items. For example, while viewing a work‑order list, you can now navigate sequentially through each record, boosting efficiency for high‑volume workflows.

Direct Work‑Order Creation from Asset Pages

Asset pages now feature quick‑action buttons that let users with the right permissions create work orders or schedule maintenance directly—no extra steps required.

Multi‑Select Bill of Materials (BOM)

In response to customer feedback, we added multi‑select functionality to BOMs. Users can now add or remove multiple parts with a single click, as shown in the example below. This feature will roll out to additional areas of the application over time.

David is developing a drag‑and‑drop interface for file uploads, which will make adding attachments faster and more intuitive.

Automatic Dashboard Refresh

Jason is building an auto‑refresh feature for dashboards, ensuring new work requests and orders appear in real time without manual reloads.

Extended “Keep Me Logged In” Option

Administrators can now allow users to stay logged in on a personal computer for up to 30 days—a welcome convenience for daily CMMS users.

Purchase Order Module Workflow

Bob is refining the workflow for our upcoming Purchase Order module, slated for release in early October. This module will simplify ordering parts and supplies, and it will be available to all customers at no additional cost.
