Apacer Launches Global CV110‑SD & CV110‑MSD High‑Performance Flash Cards

Apacer has introduced the CV110‑SD and CV110‑MSD cards, delivering a compact form factor, lightning‑fast performance, robust security, and exceptional reliability. Each card supports capacities up to 256 GB and is fully compatible with SD card readers running up to SD card version 6.1, while maintaining backward compatibility with versions 3.0 and 2.0. The products meet all SD Card Association specifications, including the Physical Layer Specification 6.1 and Security Specification 4.0.

Featuring a 9‑pin/8‑pin interface, the cards operate at a maximum frequency of 208 MHz and can seamlessly switch between SD mode and SPI mode. Advanced data‑error detection and correction keep power consumption low, making them ideal for handheld devices that run custom firmware in sectors such as healthcare, transportation, embedded systems, and IPC. As 5G and IoT solutions mature, these cards are well‑suited for most edge‑computing deployments.

Apacer’s commitment to quality is evident in the use of Toshiba ICs, which provide an impressive 3,000 program/erase cycles and function reliably across a temperature range of –40 °C to 85 °C.

The proprietary DataRAID algorithm adds an extra layer of protection. By allocating space for aggregated parity data, the system can compare and rebuild corrupted information, ensuring data integrity even after corruption events.

For read‑intensive applications, Smart Read Refresh proactively mitigates read‑disturb errors. When a read threshold is reached, the data is refreshed by rewriting it to a new block, preserving the health of all NAND flash blocks.
