Apacer Introduces SV250 Industrial SSDs: 560 MB/s Reads, 520 MB/s Writes

Apacer expands its portfolio with the 3D TLC SV250 industrial SSD series, built on Toshiba‑originated ICs. The drives deliver 560 MB/s sequential reads and 520 MB/s writes across capacities ranging from 30 GB to 960 GB, with a 3,000 P/E‑cycle endurance rating.

Designed to operate from –40 °C to 85 °C, the SV250’s firmware incorporates LDPC ECC and DataRAID™ to safeguard data integrity even with TLC NAND flash. Additional features such as power‑saving mode, wear leveling, flash memory management, S.M.A.R.T. and Trim enhance performance and lifespan.

In the event of an unexpected power loss, the built‑in DataDefender system triggers the controller to perform multiple write‑to‑flash cycles, followed by firmware verification and mapping‑table reconstruction, ensuring that no data is lost.

Security is reinforced with self‑encrypting drives that comply with TCG Opal 2.0 and use AES encryption to protect against unauthorized access.

Balancing speed, durability and cost, the SV250 is available in 2.5‑inch, M.2 2280, M.2 2242, and module form factors—making it an ideal choice for factory automation, security monitoring, edge computing and more.
