During the SPS trade show in Nuremberg, Syslogic showcased its new AI rugged computer, rated IP67 for dust and water resistance. Leveraging Nvidia’s Jetson‑TX2 platform, the device delivers GPU‑accelerated performance for machine‑vision and other AI workloads, making it the perfect foundation for edge deployments in harsh environments.

At its core, the system incorporates Nvidia’s TX2i SoM from the Jetson family, engineered for real‑time AI processing. Use cases span object and person recognition, autonomous vehicle control, predictive maintenance, optical authentication, and condition monitoring of industrial assets.

The design prioritizes durability: carefully chosen components, no moving parts, screw‑on connectors, and a sealed, ultra‑rugged enclosure protect against dust, water, and chemicals. A Gore‑Tex ventilation module equalises internal pressure, prolonging life and boosting reliability.
