IXON IoT Platform – May 2020 Release Notes
At IXON, we continuously refine our Industrial IoT solutions to deliver superior quality and an exceptional user experience. These updates empower customers to provide more efficient remote service, proactive maintenance, and deeper machine insights.
This brief overview highlights the work we’ve accomplished over the past month, covering both firmware updates for the IXrouter (since version 3.13) and a range of optimizations for the IXON IIoT platform.
Updates to the IXON Cloud Platform
Beyond bug fixes and performance improvements, we introduced three highly requested features:
Features
- Extended Remote Access to support Mitsubishi controllers via the MELSEC protocol. IXON Data Logging now works with Mitsubishi L Series, Q Series, iQ‑R Series, and iQ‑F Series PLCs.
- Added a web interface to the IXrouter, enabling easier debugging of routers with weak cellular reception. Future firmware releases will build on this functionality.
- Streamlined the process of inviting our Support Team to your company. Grant limited access (8 hours to 14 days) through the “Support” section of your IXON Cloud account, and link the invitation to an open service ticket.
