IXON’s IXrouter Now Available in EPLAN Data Portal

Starting Friday, June 19th, IXON’s entire IXrouter product line and accessories are now listed in the EPLAN Data Portal.

Since its launch, the EPLAN Data Portal has served machine, control and switchgear designers by providing component data from more than 300 manufacturers and almost one million products. Manufacturers upload their own data, keeping it current and enabling engineers worldwide to accelerate and simplify their projects.

For virtual control cabinet design, users can effortlessly select the necessary macros, component and 3D data directly from the portal and incorporate them into their CAE models. This integration automatically connects equipment from multiple vendors, eliminating manual configuration.

IXON, a leading remote service and IIoT provider, delivers secure, remote‑access solutions for industrial machines and building‑management systems. Their custom‑built IXrouter VPN gateways are engineered specifically for these applications.

Adding IXON’s IXrouters to the EPLAN Data Portal gives designers immediate access to these devices, enabling seamless integration of IXON’s secure connectivity solutions into their industrial installations.

IXON’s IXrouter Now Available in EPLAN Data Portal

The IXON IXrouters and accessories are now available in the EPLAN Data Portal.

Bart van den Corput, Product Manager at IXON, states: “Many of our customers use EPLAN to design switch cabinets. Adding all IXON products to the Data Portal was a natural step. One of IXON’s core values is delivering optimal customer service. With the portal integration, our customers can use our devices more seamlessly during cabinet design. We’ve supplied both 2D and 3D models to maximize the user experience.”

All router variants and accessories are now represented in the portal. Bart adds: “Thanks to Paul Lempens at EPLAN, we received the necessary guidance to upload our products. We crafted all technical drawings in EPLAN and presented the EDZ files to the content quality department. After a few revisions, we secured the EDS certificate—a result we’re proud of.”
