XECARB HM: High-Performance Carbon Fiber Reinforced Thermoplastics with Superior Processability and Mechanical Strength

XECARB HM is a range of technical polymers reinforced with high-modulus carbon fibers, and is the latest addition to thermoplastic compounds specialist Xenia Materials’ (Mussolente, Italy) XECARB product family.

The XECARB HM range is based on PA6-ST, PA66, PA12, PA11, PEBA and PPA compounds, and reportedly features high tensile elongation and tensile strength at break, as well as improved impact strength, especially at low temperatures.

Characterized by a high modulus-to-density ratio, the XECARB HM grades are designed to combine the processability of short fibers with the mechanical advantages typical of long carbon fiber-reinforced compounds.

Specifically, the XECARB HM grades are tailored to meet the requirements of the sporting and the industrial goods sectors for light weight with high stiffness, strength and tenacity.
