DIN 17730 Grade G‑Ni93C: Low‑Galling, Corrosion‑Resistant Cast Material for Food‑Grade and Industrial Applications

G-Ni93C possesses a low tendency to galling at insufficiently lubricated bearing spots and is preferred in running against soft metallic materials. The material possesses good corrosion-resistance to non-oxidizing mediums. It shows very good resistance to hot and concentrated caustic alkalies as well as to dry gases, e.g. chlorine. The material is applied in the food industry, furthermore for valves and fittings, in the apparatus engineering, for pumps, shut-off devices and the like. Processing properties: Weldability: limited weldability.
