EN 10263-3 Grade 20MoCr4 Steel: Cold‑Drawn, Annealed for Spheroidized Carbides, Slightly Skin‑Passed
The cold-upsettable steel 20 MoCr 5 is suitable for the manufacture of screws and nuts (soft-annealed condition with pre- and/or post treatment) used in automobile, motor and equipment construction and in general engineering. The steel finds additional use, amongst other things, for bevel gears, gear shafts, valve spring plates (for example in case-hardened condition).
