PdAg40 Alloy: Deformed Condition and Material Properties
The palladium-silver alloy PdAg40, also Pd60Ag40 or 60Pd40Ag, is used as the contact material. Furthermore, the material is used as Potentiometerlegierung. The material is ductile, corrosion-resistant, less resistant to Pd (pure) Brown Powder effect, abrasion resistant. It is non-cutting and machinable machinable, roll-clad, from the gas phase conditionally separable. The PdAg40 has an increase in hardness due to silver (Ag). Palladium and silver are infinitely miscible.
