PdAg70 Alloy – Ductile, Corrosion‑Resistant Contact Material for Telecom and Control Applications
The palladium-silver alloy PdAg70, also Pd30Ag70 or 30Pd70Ag, is used as a contact material in relays and switches in telecommunications as well as in measurement and control technology at voltages in the range 20 to 60 V and switching capacities up to 300 W. Furthermore, the material is used for potentiometers. The material is ductile, sufficiently corrosion resistant and abrasion resistant. It is non-cutting machinable, roll-clad and conditionally deductible from the gas phase.
