SEW 395 G‑X2CrNiMoN18‑14: High‑Performance Solution‑Heat‑Treated Austenitic Steel
The fully austenitic material G-X 2 CrNiMoN 18 14, with the material number 1.3952 according to SEW 395-87 (invalidly replaced by GX2CrNiMoN18-14, material number 1.3960 according to SEW 395-98), possesses a defined low value of the relative magnetic permeability of 1.01 maximum (for castings with a wall thickness of up to 50 mm). It is applied for construction components which an interference or shielding of a magnetic field must not occur at. (SEW: steel-iron material specification)
