X6CrNiTi18‑10 (DIN 17440) – Titanium‑Stabilised, Heat‑Treated Stainless Steel for High‑Temperature Welded Components

Properties: - is the with titanium stabilised variant of 1.4301 - thus after welding also with material thicknesses > 6 mm resistant to intergranular corrosion - due to the Ti-additive the steel is not high polishable - is certified for the construction of pressure tanks to 300 °C, if no disintegration of grains-releasing media are present, then up to 550°C is possible - the strength grades E 225, E 355 are usual. Application: - employment in large extent for welded parts in the chemical apparatus engineering - food, luxuries, fat and soap industry - in the film and photo industry, in leather and sugar factories and for houseware - in architecure for construction units with supporting function is certified (extended licence notice No. Z-30.44.1 of Institut für Bautechnik Berlin from 1 February 1994)
