EN 10269 X2CrNiMoN17-13-3 – High‑Strength, Corrosion‑Resistant Austenitic Steel, Solution Annealed (+AT)

Trademark X2CrNiMoN17-13-3 is comparable to X 2 CrNiMoN 17 13 3 acc. to DIN 17440-85. This material is a fully austenitic steel that is suitable for mirror finishing. It shows higher strength by N-alloying, by Mo-addition higher corrosion resistance especially to non-oxidizing acids and halogenated media than 1.4406. Higher resistance to selective attack than 1.4435, excellent limiting fatigue strength behavior also under chemical loading. Good low temperature toughness, therefore suitable in refrigeration up to -270 °C, approved for pressure vessel construction. Further application for mounting elements at increased and lower temperatures.
